I'm thrilled to present our first customer submission! Dennis (a co-worker of mine and new Washington resident) took his first trip to the fruit market last weekend.
From Dennis:
It has Petite Iceberg ¼ wedge with Blue Cheese dressing, grape tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles and bacon bits.
Not only looks good but tastes great. Fruit Market was only place around I could find the Petite Iceberg.
Now maybe I'm slow on the petite iceberg wedge trend, but this was new to me. I want to skewer it with my fork and eat it like a big shish-kabob. But that's just me.
I believe you can get most all of these ingredients at Yakima Fruit Market. (wink wink) A big THANK YOU to Dennis for sharing this with us.
Switching gears for a moment- I was in a car accident today while returning to work from an off-site meeting. I was the passenger in a Land Rover that got rear ended by a semi-truck. I'm sore and shaken up but happy to be in one piece; unfortunately my co-worker's Land Rover was not so lucky. To put it bluntly, the car saved our asses. After it happened I couldn't stop laughing (I think I was in shock) and all I could think about was the fact that we were both wearing green shirts for St. Patrick's Day. And then I thought that all the people on the side of the road were probably wearing green too, and I'm pretty Irish, and this was a pretty unlucky thing.
It's funny what you think about when you're in shock. I was still trying to suppress my shock-induced laughter during my ambulance ride, and in the hallway of the ER where they left me for 45 minutes (!!). All that for me to explain this: I'm laying flat on my back, laptop on my lap, vicodin for my back starting to kick in. Please forgive me if any grammar or punctuation rules were broken in the writing of this post.
Have a great night.
